What are some natural remedies for sinusitis?
My sinuses have NEVER bothered me this bad! At least, that’s what I’m hoping is wrong… I really don’t want the baby to get sick right now. Anyway, my face feels like it’s going to blow up, I have to go back to school tomorrow, and I can’t get any Sudafed tonight. So help!

trying using a netty pot http://www.neilmed.com/usa/netipot_adwor...

it might sound gross but it works great u can get them pretty much anywhere. or you can use something in your home like a teapot. what you do is fill it with warm water 1 cup water to 1/4 teaspoon of non iodine salt. you stand over a sink, hold it to your nostril and turn your head. let the water drain out the other nostril. if you are having sever sinus infection it might take a long time for this to go through your sinus and nostrils to help clear them out. this is the best invention ever its even been featured on Oprah.

also i put a little bit of colloidal silver in the water mixture to help kill the infection in your sinus

this is a better idea then holding your head above boiling water. also if you live in a dryer climate put a humidifier in your home this will keep you from getting and sinus infection

I found out my multi-year sinusitis was due to a tomato allergy. I had no tomatoes for 8 years and then I tried it and it was ok and I could eat tomatoes again..some thought it was some chemical on the tomatoes and I used organic for about 6 years but now can eat any and no sinus with it anymore so you might try going on a juice fast and then easing back into food with an elimination diet starting with the more allergic foods first to see if you can find out what, if anything, you are allergic too.

you may not have that on hand if you have fresh horseradish..grate it or try eating some shrimp sauce heavy on the horseradish and see if that helps..sometimes using hot chili oil in hot and sour soup or other spicy foods helped me clear my lungs and nose when getting a cold etc. I have seen horseradish root at some kroger’s., meijers. or giant eagle stores in the produce department

My doctor told me that more than half of patients who were diagnosed with migraine used to think that they were suffering from sinusitis until the diagnosis of migraine.

Migraine pains may be just at the exact sinus locations. And, interestingly Sudafed helps more to migraine sufferers than to sinus sufferers. So, if you do not have other symptoms like nasal congestion, post-nasal drip, diminished sense of smell, etc, you may need to visit a doctor for a migraine inspection.
